I’m an edtech founder, innovation advisor, business designer, and progress optimist.

Currently, I'm building Fountation, an edtech startup that teaches foundational skills not taught in school or university in an interactive, engaging, and long-lasting manner by leveraging insights from learning science and game design. Think "Duolingo for Life Skills".

I’m passionate about solving meaningful problems with diverse teams of driven people and designing digital products, services, and business models that address real-world challenges. I also love thinking deeply about the implications of technological change for business and society and trying to understand the factors necessary for societal progress to come about.

I started my career at BlaBlaCar, by now the world’s leading long-distance carpooling service, where I helped conquer the German market and served as the country manager for Germany. I also advised a number of early-stage startups, hosted a German-speaking podcast around blockchain applications, and served as Head of Innovation at Hermes Europe, a European B2C logistics provider, where my team and I tried to help solve some of the vexing challenges that the last-mile logistics industry is currently facing.

As an innovation advisor, I’m happy to share my learnings around managing innovation, business design, digital transformation, growth strategy, agile organization and culture and orthogonal thinking in startup, corporate and public sector environments.
